Peter is praying on a rooftop when a strange vision interrupts him — unclean animals, a voice telling him to eat, and no explanation why. Miles away, a Roman centurion named Cornelius has already seen an angel of his own. Neither man knows what God is doing until their stories collide, and the wall between Jew and Gentile comes down for good. Christ is Lord of all — and he shows no partiality.
In this sermon we follow Peter to Cornelius's house and watch the gospel reach further than anyone expected. Whether you've been on the outside looking in, or you're not sure there's still a place for you, the invitation is the same: come to the table.
